Can I put it in the dishwasher, freezer, oven and air fryer?

Yes.. The Stack + Nest containers are dishwasher-safe, freezer-safe, and the box is oven-safe (not the lid). When freezing, take care not to overfill. Always follow the usage advice given below.

What temperature can the containers go in the oven? 

The base is oven safe, up to a maximum of 480°F.

What is the minimum temperature for the glass?

The glass is cold resistant to - 4°F and therefore safe for use in the freezer.

Can I go straight from freezer to oven or microwave? 

Do not put the box into the oven directly from freezer, always defrost before cooking to reduce thermal shock. 

What is the maximum temperature change the glass will endure?

You should avoid sudden and severe temperature changes, ensure that you do not cause the glass to experience a thermal shock of more than 390°F (EN1183).

Do not place hot glass bases directly onto a cold or wet surface, such as a countertop or sink.

Do not place hot glass directly under running water.

Allow glass to cool before washing, refrigerating or freezing.

Are the lids dishwasher-safe? 

Yes, the lids are dishwasher-safe, simply put them on the top rack when washing. 

Are these compatible with the Black+Blum Stainless Steel Meal Prep Boxes? 

Yes, the boxes and lids are compatible with our Stainless Steel Meal Prep Boxes. Not with the Square or Bowl shapes.

Are these boxes leak proof?

Yes. The vacuum-sealed lid lock is 100% leak proof and airtight, keeping your food fresher for longer and reducing food waste. 

How do I open the lid?

Push the button to release the lid lock and break the vacuum seal. Pull the lid upwards slowly for the easiest open.

Can I also microwave the lid? 

Yes! We have specifically designed the lid to remove the need for single-use plastic cling film to prevent splatter when microwaving. Just ensure the lid lock is open to prevent pressure build up and to release steam, and you’re good to go.  

What other special precautions do I need to take when using the glass?

Avoid use under direct heat source:

Do not use on and under a flame or with any other direct heat source.

Not for toaster oven, stovetop, or grill use. Do not place under a browning element.

Do not use scratched, cracked or chipped glassware:

Do not drop or hit against hard surfaces.

Do not use hard utensils that can scratch the glass.

Avoid hitting or knocking the product with or against hard or sharp objects.

Do not put the lid into an oven or air-fryer.
